How much does therapy cost?

Therapy sessions can between $100-$250 per session depending on the therapist you see. A portion of this practice is dedicated to sliding scale clients. Please do not hesitate to reach out to us to talk to us about your personal circumstances. Unless otherwise arranged, payment is due at the time of service.

How to know when you should see a therapist?

Therapy helps you understand important relationships in your life, especially if you have questions or want to make changes. People typically reach out to us because they are having trouble managing their own feelings, or often feel angry, sad, or anxious. That being said, it is always a good time to see a therapist for a mental health checkup, just like you would go to get a physical exam. There does not need to be anything “wrong”in your life for you to want to make it better.

What to expect from your therapy session?

From our very first meeting, the course of your care is determined collaboratively. Each therapy session is 50 minutes. You will receive a confirmation email from SimplePractice to set up your account with us (HIPAA compliant and HITRUST certified) as well as a link to the HIPAA compliant Google Meet for your video sessions. Very often, clients want to know the number of appointments they should expect. Most clients attend sessions on a weekly or bi-weekly basis. With your therapist you will continually assess this as therapy progresses.
