Our lives can be complex, as well as our relationships. Whether you're facing anxiety, exploring identity, healing from trauma, or navigating relationship challenges, therapy can offer a space of grounding, growth, and possibility. My approach is to meet you exactly where you are, honoring the strength and insight you already carry while helping you access new tools, perspectives, and pathways forward. I believe that therapy is not about “fixing” someone because people are not broken. Instead, it’s about cultivating a relationship rooted in safety, authenticity, and curiosity. Together, we can unpack the internal and external barriers that are keeping you from the kind of life you want to live, and explore the ways your own passions, resilience, and experiences can help you chart a course forward.

My clinical interests include supporting clients with trauma, anxiety, depression, couples therapy, family therapy, parent-child relationships, divorce/separation and co-parenting, life transitions, emerging adulthood, multicultural identity/bicultural stress, cultural assimilation vs. authenticity, veterans and military families, family expectations vs. individual autonomy, loss of cultural heritage or language, cultural pride and resilience-building.

I work with teens, adults, families, and couples of all backgrounds, and I am especially passionate about affirming work with LGBTQIA+ individuals and those practicing non-monogamy or navigating kink and alternative relationship structures.

My therapeutic style is warm, affirming, and collaborative. I am relationally oriented at my core and draw from a variety of evidence-based modalities, including Integrative Systemic Therapy (IST), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Structural Family Therapy (SFT), Gottman Method, contextual therapy, attachment-based therapy, and narrative therapy. I also incorporate geek therapy and somatic awareness when appropriate.
As a queer therapist and lifelong geek, I understand the power of connecting through lived experience. I bring my full, authentic self into the room and encourage you to do the same. I believe in using humor, metaphor, fandom, and creativity to help you explore your inner world in ways that feel both safe and meaningful. Whether you're unpacking deep emotional wounds or simply trying to make life feel a little more manageable, I aim to co-create a space that is both serious and lighthearted, challenging and compassionate.
Above all, I believe that healing happens in relationship, with others, with ourselves, and with the world around us. If you're looking for a therapist who will walk with you curiously, compassionately, and without judgment, I’d be honored to connect with you.
I was born in Chicago and spent my formative years growing up in Mexico, an experience that deeply shaped my understanding of the importance of cultural connection in the healing process. I fully bilingual in English and Spanish allowing me to support individuals from diverse backgrounds with sensitivity and clarity. My approach is also rooted in the richness of Latin culture, and I strive to create a welcoming, inclusive space where clients feel seen, heard, and supported.
More About Eduardo
Outside of the therapy room I love sharing adventures with people I care about, from trips abroad to the everyday moments that make us laugh and connect. I’m also drawn to creativity and storytelling, often through tabletop role-playing games like Dungeons & Dragons, where imagination and community come alive. I enjoy discovering new perspectives, whether through books, photography, walking on the beach, conversations, or stepping outside my comfort zone, and I’m naturally curious about how people grow, adapt, and find meaning. At heart, I’m reflective, adventurous, and always seeking ways to grow while keeping relationships.
