My Philosophy

Congratulations on taking the first step towards your personal goals! Whether you're new to therapy or experienced, I welcome you wherever you are in your journey.

I've worked across diverse settings, spanning ages 3 to 105, and I meet you without judgment.

In therapy with me, you can expect:

  • A warm and inviting space for your emotions

  • A deep understanding of your history, culture, and current context

  • Identifying your strengths and areas for change

  • Exploring past experiences, including trauma, and their impact

  • Recognizing how past experiences manifest in physical symptoms

  • Creating new life approaches based on insights

  • Positive energy, smiles, and laughter

I adapt my approach based on your comfort. As a Licensed Creative Arts Therapist, specifically in Music Therapy, I use music and creative arts (art, drama, writing, dance, etc.) for deeper self-understanding. No prior arts experience needed! Alternatively, I draw from DBT, CBT, mindfulness, and other talk therapy approaches.

I bring my whole self to sessions. As a woman of Armenian descent with an immigrant father, I understand intergenerational trauma, cultural sensitivity, and sociopolitical violence's impact.

Being part of the LGBTQ+ community, I welcome all sexuality and gender orientations, individuals, couples, polycules, and diverse group dynamics. I specialize in polyamory and ethical non-monogamy, promoting healthy communication and relating.

As an actor, I empathize with the unique challenges of the performing arts. I welcome other creatives dealing with rejection, body image, burnout, workplace issues, and more.

Let's create a safe space for your authentic self. Best wishes on your journey!
